Steven Pienaar makes his return from injury against Manchester United – but there is no James McCarthy, Seamus Coleman or Sylvain Distin at Old Trafford.
In total there are four changes from the side that faced Krasnodar on Thursday.
It is Pienaar’s first action since limping out of the home game against Arsenal in August.
McCarthy missed the trip to Russia with a quad problem and he is again sidelined for Sunday’s clash against Louis van Gaal’s side.
Coleman is absent for the fifth successive match as he recovers from a soft tissue problem, while Distin hasn’t featured since the Capital One Cup defeat at Swansea.
Romelu Lukaku is restored to the starting line-up having appeared as a substitute against Krasnodar in what appears to be a straight swap in attack with Samuel Eto’o who drops down to the bench.
Also returning to the team are Muhamed Besic and Steven Naismith. Dropping out are Leon Osman and Darron Gibson.
Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Jagielka, Stones, Besic, Barry, Pienaar, Naismith, McGeady, Lukaku (Subs: Robles, Gibson, Eto’o, Oviedo, Osman, Browning, Alcaraz)
Manchester United: De Gea, Da Silva, Shaw, Rojo, Di Maria, Mata, Falcao, Blind, Van Persie, Valencia, McNair (Subs: Lindegaard, Januzaj, Fletcher, Fellaini, Thorpe, Blackett, Wilson)
